NSC is Dedicated to Growing the Sewing Business!
What is the National Sewing Council? (continued from home page)
Starting in March of 2009 NSC began to survey sewing industry members. The results of this survey told us that industry members including retailers, manufacturers publishers and wholesalers want a national campaign to promote sewing. With your help that is exactly what NSC is working to produce.
On September 14, 2009, a cross section of the sewing industry leaders met for an all day strategy meeting and development of the NSC Advisory Board. At this event we discussed a marketing campaign, advertising opportunities, web site development and special events, all designed to engage our current customer while attracting many new sewers to the hobby or business world of sewing, embroidery, quilting, home dec, fiber arts, etc. Our Advisory Board has some creative and powerful ideas that are certain to produce the results your business is looking for.

It is estimated that 400 consumers took advantaged the Sew Creative Lounge. 300 filled out the NSC survey and here are the results.
